The Commission on Higher Education Regional Office I (CHED ROI) proudly celebrates the successful conduct of two flagship activities for National Women’s Month 2026—the Search for GAD Corner 2026 and the GAD Regional Quiz Show.

These initiatives gathered Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) across Region I, showcasing excellence in promoting Gender and Development (GAD) through innovation, knowledge, and institutional commitment.

🏢 SEARCH FOR GAD CORNER 2026
Fifteen HEIs transformed their campuses into vibrant spaces of advocacy, making GAD more visible, accessible, and impactful.

🏆 Winners:
Champion: Luna Colleges, Inc.
1st Runner-Up: ISPSC – Main Campus
2nd Runner-Up: Palaris Colleges, Inc.
3rd Runner-Up: ISPSC – Sta. Maria Campus
4th Runner-Up: Osias Educational Foundation

🧠 GAD REGIONAL QUIZ SHOW
A dynamic competition that strengthened awareness and understanding of gender-responsive concepts among student participants.

Champion: Urdaneta City University
1st Runner-up: Panpacific University
2nd Runner-up: ISPSC – Sta. Maria Campus

These activities highlight the vital role of HEIs in advancing gender equality—through both knowledge-building and inclusive campus practices.
