𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐃 𝐑𝐎𝐈 𝐨𝐛𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝟏𝟖-𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐄𝐧𝐝 𝐕𝐢𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓

With this year’s continuing theme, “𝘜𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘢 𝘝𝘈𝘞-𝘍𝘳𝘦𝘦 𝘗𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘱𝘱𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘴,” the Commission on Higher Education Regional Office I joins the nation in marking the 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women from November 25 to December 12, 2025, renewing its call for a safer, more inclusive, and VAW-free Philippines.

Throughout the campaign, CHED ROI will roll out a series of advocacy activities:

• 𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟓: Hanging of tarpaulin and streamer; posting of IEC materials on social media

• 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏 & 𝟖: Inclusion of VAW-related AVPs during Monday Flag Raising Ceremonies

• 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟑: Extension Activity – Panangaro tan Pamaliket (Pagmamahal at Pagbibigayan)

• 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟏: Project BaBAE: Balitaktakan at Bahaginan Alay kay Eba – an orientation on GAD Assessment Tools on GFPS functionality and instructional materials in higher education

• 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟏: VAW Contests:
– Ending VAW Project Excellence Award (E-VAW-PEA)
– Do the Macho Choir Challenge

Together, let us uphold women’s dignity, raise awareness, and take meaningful action to end all forms of violence against women. United, we move toward a safer, more inclusive, and empowered Philippines.
