Every August 8, we commemorate the founding of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) in 1967 and celebrate the spirit of cooperation and unity that binds Southeast Asia together.

This year, as we mark ASEAN @ 59, the logo reminds us of ASEAN’s unity, interconnectedness, and shared journey toward a peaceful, prosperous, and people-centered future. 🤝🌏

The Commission on Higher Education Regional Office I (CHED RO1) will hold a month-long series of internationalization activities this ASEAN Month to advance the internationalization efforts of higher education institutions in Region I. Stay tuned! 👀
