Dr. Cherrie Melanie Ancheta-Diego, CESO III, Director IV, and Dr. Al Gerald Barde, Education Supervisor II and Focal Person for Internationalization, join the CHED Central Office and Regional Office directors and delegates during the third day of the Capacity Building on Liaison, Protocol, and Conference Management at the CHED Central Office, Quezon City, on February 6, 2026.

The day features a session on ASEAN Recent Developments in Higher Education, with Dr. Roger Chao Jr., Head of Education for Youth and Sports at the ASEAN Secretariat, as the resource speaker.

The rest of the program will focus on Filipino Brand of Service Excellence (FBSE) training, to be facilitated by Ms. Susan Edilo of the Department of Tourism.

The sessions aim to highlight the gold standard of Filipino welcome in international and ASEAN settings, application of Filipino core values in official hosting, and service delivery standards for ASEAN Chairpersonship–related activities.
