Dr. Cherrie Melanie Ancheta-Diego, CESO III, Director IV of CHED Regional Office I, served as one of the resource speakers during the LEADERSโ SUMMIT โ Leading Education with Academic Integrity and Institutional DNA toward Excellence, Resilience and Sustainability, at the Panpacific University, Inc. (PUI) Events Center, City of Urdaneta, Pangasinan on February 24, 2026.
Accompanying her were Dr. Danilo B. Bose, Chief Education Program Specialist; Dr. Angelica Q. Dolores, Supervising Education Program Specialist; and Mr. Albert H. Subang, Education Supervisor II.
The summit was conducted in line with the Universityโs 33rd Founding Anniversary and anchored on its core values of Pioneer, Compassion, Service, and Truth.
In her address, Dr. Ancheta-Diego highlighted TRUTH as the foundation of values-driven leadership through her โLeadership Anchored in Truth Pyramid,โ identifying Institutional Trust and Community Buy-In as its ultimate goal.
She emphasized that credibility and integrity, truthful communication, and courageous decision-making, grounded in shared values and active engagement, collectively lead to institutional excellence and sustained public trust at PUI.
Drawing inspiration from the Parable of the Pencil, Dr. Ancheta-Diego highlighted that โthe most important part of you will always be whatโs inside,โ reinforcing that authentic leadership stems from character, humility, and core values rather than authority or position.
She concluded her speech by encouraging members of the University community to commit to truth and integrity in their respective roles, emphasizing that leadership anchored in truth strengthens institutional credibility, protects reputation, and fosters public trust.
