The Commission on Higher Education Regional Office I proudly congratulates Dr. Al Gerald S. Barde, Education Supervisor II, for being officially conferred the Career Executive Service Eligibility (CESE) pursuant to CESB Resolution No. 1832, approved on June 4, 2026.

Dr. Barde successfully completed the rigorous four-stage Career Executive Service examination and assessment process, which included the Career Service Executive Eligibility Written Examination—where he ranked 5th among the top performers nationwide in June 2023—the Assessment Center, Performance Validation, and Panel Interview.

The conferment of CESE is one of the highest distinctions in the Philippine bureaucracy. It signifies excellence in public service and recognizes individuals who have demonstrated the competence, leadership potential, and managerial capability required to occupy executive positions in government.
