As we enter the sacred season of Lent beginning on Ash Wednesday, the Commission on Higher Education Regional Office 1 (CHED ROI) extends its prayerful solidarity to our Catholic brothers and sisters.

This solemn season invites us to pause, reflect, and renew our commitment to faith, humility, and service. As we receive the ashes, we are reminded of our shared humanity, our responsibility to live with integrity, and our call to serve others with compassion and purpose.

May this Lenten journey lead us closer to God and to one another. Through prayer, fasting, and acts of charity, may we cultivate discipline of the heart, clarity of purpose, and renewed dedication to our mission of shaping lives through education.
